OVERVIEW

In a crowded market, Avast needed to revamp it's website to introduce a new brand personality and boost downloads of it's leading anti-virus software.

As a Senior Interaction Designer at ELSE, I led the redesign of several key pages for the US website. One of the main challenges was determining the right balance of integrating new brand elements. This required an iterative process, where I presented a range of design approaches, from bold implementations to more subdued treatments.

PERFORMANCE

The testing metrics showed users were spending more time on each page, exploring more content, and bouncing less. Also, an on-site customer survey highlighted a noticeable boost in positive brand responses, showing that the new brand personality really resonated with users.

To top things off the project won a Bronze award at the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards!
